Independence Day
During the 2021 Virginia General Assembly session, legislation was passed that temporarily expands Virginia's child care subsidy program to families earning up to 85% of the state median income and to those parents who are in the job search process.
And new federal resources are available to families starting this month through the Child Tax Credit/Allowance, triggering monthly payments for eligible families with children.
But these resources are effective only if families take steps to access them. Please join a virtual briefing to learn more about these resources and how you can help connect families to them!
