Begin Preparing Your Middle School Student for College (It’s Not Too Early!)

Very few people have said, “I sure wish I could repeat middle school!” As a former middle school teacher, Barbara Simeroth witnessed the rapid change that happens during this delicate time in a child’s development. For students on the Spectrum, a new environment, many different teachers in one day and a changing, complex social structure that thrives on uniformity can be challenging. In this seminar, Barbara will address the challenges, but also how to guide your child to begin the journey toward high school and ultimately life on a college campus. Find out how to support your student while still in middle school; it’s not too early to begin preparation for higher education.
