I Have a DD Waiver: Now What?

DD Waivers can provide supports and services to enable those receiving them to live more integrated, independent lives. This session will address:

• roles and responsibilities of case managers and service facilitators
• developing the plan of care
• descriptions of services available, including consumer directed services
• important steps to keep your waiver in place

This workshop is for anyone interested in learning the process of utilizing a DD Waiver. This session will not address eligibility, screening, waiting lists, etc.

About the Presenter, Bradford Hulcher:

Bradford is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate Virginia’s service systems to access the person centered supports and services needed to achieve their dreams. Bradford currently serves as an Information & Referral Specialist for the ASCV, as well as a lead advocacy volunteer. Bradford graduated from the University of Virginia and Partners in Policymaking, and she is a Medicaid Waiver Mentor. Bradford has served on many local and state work and policy groups, including the Region IV REACH Advisory Council and the DOJ Settlement Agreement Stakeholder’s Group. Bradford is the parent of 2 adult sons, one of whom has autism
