Topic: Creating an Effective Behavior Intervention Plan for Your Students
Description: You have conducted a functional behavior assessment and have shared the results with your team and the family. Where do you go from here? Learn how to create a plan that will be effective for the student, user friendly for staff and presented to the family with recommendations that they can implement at home. Positive strategies for improving behavior and sample replacement skills will be discussed that clinicians can include in behavior plans.
Coffee and bagels will be served.
All public and private grade school counselors, social workers and psychologists are welcome to attend. Bring a friend!
About the Presenter:
Elena Zaklis, M.A., BCBA, LBA is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and is a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Virginia. Elena provides services for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and autism. She also leads parent training groups and works with families individually. She leads training sessions for school administrators and school personnel on behavior management techniques. Elena is a member of the ACT Matrix Academy and uses the pro-social matrix communication process to assist individuals and groups to identify their values, collaborate and achieve meaningful outcomes.
