Destination Life! Disability Resource Fair and Parent Conference (Midlothian)

Chesterfield County Public Schools Special Education Department and The Office of Family and Community Engagement are pleased to invite you to Destination Life: A Disability Awareness Fair and Parent Conference. The event will be held on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the Chesterfield Technical Center@Hull Street Road, 13900 Hull Street Road, Midlothian, VA 23112. Destination Life is designed to provide information about services available for students with disabilities, their parents, and teachers. The goal is to provide attendees with relevant resources for students from kindergarten age to those transitioning to life after high school. Meet with exhibitors and discover resources and services for your student. School-based businesses will also be showcasing their products. Attend one or two workshops that evening to learn more in-depth information specific to your child’s needs. Event Timeline: 5 p.m.- Building opens to students, parents, and teachers for vendor exploration 6:10-6:30 p.m.- Keynote Speaker in Auditorium 6:35-7:15 p.m.- Breakout Session 1 7:20-8:00 p.m.- Breakout Session 2 7:30 p.m.- Vendor exhibition closes Please sign up for this free event so that we can get an accurate count of attendees.
