Many adults with autism spectrum disorder and related needs want to move out of their parents’ home but don’t know where to begin. Their parents are equally anxious for them to be independent. CA’s transition program equips clients with the skills they need to eventually live independently with just a little bit of support.
We coach, support and encourage our clients, helping them begin the transition to independence.
Our residential program offers transitional housing for adults with autism and related needs who are interested in developing the life skills necessary to live on their own. The length of stay varies with each resident, their skill level and goals. The ultimate goal of this program is for participants to move into their own apartment with just a little bit of ongoing support.
Join us on Wednesday, December 8 from 5:00-7:00pm at CA’s Adult Program Residence, learn about the process and what we have to offer. Come for the whole two hours to socialize or just long enough to ask your questions and tour the house! CA staff and current residents will be on site to answer your questions.
CA will be providing light refreshments.
CA’s COVID Response:
In order to safely conduct the open-house, CA will require guests to wear a mask while inside the residency. If you or someone in your party has been exhibiting symptoms of COVID, we ask that you do not attend this open house and schedule a tour at a later date when symptoms are no longer present.
