VITO

The Commonwealth of Virginia licenses VITO to provide person-centered supports in your home and in the community. We will work with you and your “Team” including any family or friends you want to help plan your supports as well as your Support Coordinator or Case Manager to assess your interests, your likes, your dislikes, and anything you feel is important “to” and “for” you to have the Good Life you want and deserve.

Based on your person-centered plan, VITO will provide a qualified worker to support you in obtaining this “Good Life” you have identified.  Our worker, called a Direct Support Professional or DSP, will come to your home and support you in your home one-on-one, or even take you into the community if that is what you decided would be in your Plan.

Specific examples of possible activities we can work on can be found on our Services page. The important thing to keep in mind – this is YOUR PLAN. That is why it is called a Person-Centered Plan, because you are the key; you are the center; you are the focus! Supports are provided in your home, in our group day support center and in the community based on your needs Monday – Sunday.
