The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring on the big screen at the Byrd Theatre
We are limiting this public screening to 50 attendees. (Less than 10% of our capacity – lots of social distance!)
Tickets will only be sold online.
A few things to know:
We use a special cleaner we found to clean all surfaces, even the cloth seats, that kills all sorts of pathogens including Covid-19. We wash our hands often, and have hand sanitizer available in multiple places throughout the building.
We’ve been cleaning and updating our HVAC systems as well to ensure clean air and air quality. We have seats marked off and distanced so you can safely sit and enjoy the movie.
We ask that you keep your mask on in the building at all times.
Please use the restroom one at a time.
We’ll open the doors 45 minutes early at 6:15 pm to allow for the extra time it takes to get people in the door with temperature checks and the Covid screen questions. We appreciate your patience. You will receive an email with a Covid Health questionnaire a couple of days prior to the event.
If you have COVID or have been exposed, or have any symptoms, we appreciate you staying home.
Tickets are $10. This is higher than our normal price, however, we need more people to keep you safe, and can have less people in the theatre. We hope you’ll understand. We are not selling concessions for this performance to comply with mask wearing, again, we hope you understand and look forward to serving concessions again soon!
